Package Itinerary

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative at the airport and transferred to your hotel. After checking in and resting for a while, you can take some time to explore the vibrant city of Kathmandu.

Today, you will have a day for preparation, rest, and sightseeing in Kathmandu. You can visit some of the famous cultural and historical landmarks in the city, such as Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

You will take a domestic flight from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur, which offers stunning views of the Himalayas. From Bhadrapur, you will drive to Taplejung, a picturesque town located in the eastern part of Nepal. The drive will take approximately 8 to 9 hours, passing through beautiful landscapes and local villages.

Today's drive takes you to Sekathum, a small village on the banks of the Tamor River. The journey offers scenic views of terraced fields, dense forests, and mountain streams.

Your trekking adventure begins as you leave Sekathum and head towards Amjilosa. The trail passes through lush forests and remote settlements, providing glimpses of the unique local culture and lifestyle.

Today's trek takes you through dense rhododendron and bamboo forests, crossing several suspension bridges over the Ghunsa River. You will reach Gyabla, a charming village surrounded by beautiful landscapes.

As you continue your journey, the trail gradually ascends towards the stunning village of Ghunsa. The village is inhabited by friendly Sherpa people and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

Today's trek takes you to Khambachen, a high-altitude settlement with picturesque views of snow-capped peaks. The trail follows the Ghunsa River and offers glimpses of the region's unique flora and fauna.

To adapt to the high altitude, you will spend an acclimatization day in Khambachen. You can explore the local surroundings and enjoy the stunning mountain vistas.

Leaving Khambachen, you will trek to Lhonak, a remote village nestled amidst glacial moraines. The views of Kanchenjunga and other peaks are mesmerizing along the way.

Today, you will embark on a challenging hike to the Kanchenjunga North Base Camp, also known as Pang Pema. The trail rewards you with awe-inspiring views of the Kanchenjunga massif and its glacier. After spending some time at the base camp, you will return to Lhonak for the night.

Leaving Lhonak, you will retrace your steps back to Ghunsa, enjoying the familiar scenery along the way.

Today's trek takes you to Sele Le Base Camp, a beautiful location surrounded by towering mountains. The trail offers diverse landscapes, from lush forests to rocky terrains.

The trail to Tseram offers breathtaking views of the Yalung Glacier and the high mountain peaks. You will pass through the stunning high-altitude meadows and reach Tseram for the night.

Today, you will hike to Ramche and Oktang, offering incredible views of the Yalung Glacier and the southern face of Kanchenjunga. After the hike, you will return to Tseram for the night.

As you descend, the trail takes you to the village of Tortong. Along the way, you will pass through beautiful rhododendron forests and enjoy the tranquil environment.

Today's trek descends to Yamphudin, a charming village with a mix of cultures and ethnicities. The village is inhabited by Limbu, Sherpa, and Rai communities.

Leaving Yamphudin, you will trek to Khebang, a beautiful village in the Taplejung district. The village offers stunning views of the surrounding hills and terraced fields.

From Khebang, you will drive to Ilam, a picturesque hill station known for its lush tea gardens and serene environment.

From Ilam, you will drive to Bhadrapur and then take a flight back to Kathmandu. The flight offers scenic views of the Himalayas and green valleys.

Your memorable Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek comes to an end. Our representative will drop you off at the airport for your departure flight.

Package Includes

You will be greeted at the airport upon your arrival in Kathmandu, and we will arrange your drop-off at the airport after the trek.

We provide a porter for every two trekkers to carry your luggage during the trek, making your journey more comfortable.

You will be accompanied by a knowledgeable and experienced trekking guide who will lead you through the trek. Additionally, a porter will be assigned to carry your luggage. Both the guide and porter's salaries, insurance, and meals are included in the package.

Throughout the trek, you will be provided with three delicious meals a day, along with five servings of tea or coffee. We ensure that you have a comfortable stay in the best available lodges along the trekking route.

The cost includes all the necessary entry fees, including special permits and the TIMS (Trekkers' Information Management System) card, required for the trek.

During your stay in Kathmandu before and after the trek, you will be accommodated in a comfortable 3-star or equivalent hotel on a Bed and Breakfast (BB) plan.

The package covers the cost of domestic flights and ground transportation as per the planned itinerary, ensuring smooth travel during the trip.

While trekking, you will stay in twin-sharing basic lodges, providing a cozy and warm environment for a restful night's sleep.

We will provide you with a duffle bag to safely store your belongings during the trek.

At the end of the trek, we will organize a special farewell dinner for you, where you can enjoy traditional Nepali cuisine and a cultural dance program.

Package Excludes

The cost of the Nepal visa is not included in the package. You will need to obtain the visa upon arrival at the airport, and it requires four passport-size pictures.

The package does not cover the expenses for alcoholic beverages, bottled water, soft drinks, or any personal snacks you may wish to have during the trek.

You are responsible for your personal medical expenses and evacuation costs in case of any unforeseen circumstances during the trek. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive international travel insurance that includes emergency rescue services.

If you require an additional porter to carry your personal day bag or any extra luggage, it will be an extra cost not covered in the package.

Any extra activities such as riding a horse during the trek are not included in the package and will be an additional expense if you choose to do so.

In the event of any natural disasters or unforeseen circumstances that may affect the trek, any extra expenses incurred due to such situations are not included in the package.

If you wish to do sightseeing in Kathmandu beyond the itinerary, it will be an additional cost, as it will be arranged according to your preferences and duration of stay in Nepal.

The package covers accommodation in Kathmandu for the specified number of nights. If you need to stay extra nights in Kathmandu beyond the itinerary, it will be an extra cost.

You are responsible for your personal clothing, packing items, bags, trekking gears, and a personal medical kit required for the trek.

The package includes breakfast in Kathmandu, but the cost of other meals in Kathmandu is not included.

Tips or any gifts you may wish to give to the trekking staff as a gesture of appreciation for their services are not included in the package.
